What we collect: When you reach out via WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, we may receive your name, phone number, delivery address, and any details you share about your order (size, colour, occasion). We do not collect payment card details — all transactions are arranged directly with you over chat.

How we use it: Solely to process your enquiry, prepare your order, arrange delivery, and follow up on after-sales support. We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for marketing.

Communication: Order updates and offers may be sent to you via WhatsApp or Instagram/Facebook DM. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time by telling us directly.

Data retention: We keep order-related chat history only as long as needed for order fulfilment, warranty, and dispute resolution.

By ordering from Chardi Kala, you agree to the following:

Orders: All orders are placed via WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook DM and confirmed only after you and our team agree on product, price, size and delivery details. There is no on-site checkout or automated payment on this website.

Product accuracy: Colours may vary slightly from what's shown on screen due to photography, lighting and device display differences. Unstitched fabric measurements are approximate and may vary by up to half an inch during weaving/printing.

Pricing: Prices shown are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are subject to change without prior notice. The price confirmed at the time of order is final for that order.

Payment: Payment terms (advance/full payment, mode) will be shared with you directly during order confirmation.

Content: All images, logos and text on this site are the property of Chardi Kala and may not be reproduced without permission.

Processing time: Orders are typically dispatched within 2–5 business days of order confirmation, depending on stock availability and whether the piece requires tailoring.

Delivery time: Once dispatched, delivery usually takes 3–7 business days within India via trusted courier partners. Remote areas may take a little longer.

Shipping charges: Shipping cost (if any) will be communicated to you at the time of order confirmation, based on your location and order value.

Tracking: Once your order ships, we'll share the tracking details with you on WhatsApp.

International orders: Currently we ship within India only. If you're outside India and interested in a piece, message us — we may be able to arrange something on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility: We accept returns or exchanges only for pieces that arrive damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was confirmed at order time. Please share clear photos/video of the issue with us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery.

Not eligible: Unstitched fabric cut for tailoring, made-to-measure pieces, and items without original tags/packaging cannot be returned. We also don't accept returns for reasons of personal preference (e.g. "didn't like the colour in person") once the order matches what was confirmed.

Process: Once a return is approved, we'll share pickup or self-ship instructions. Refunds or exchanges are processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned item back in original condition.

Refunds: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, or as store credit if you prefer — we'll confirm this with you directly.

When a refund applies: Refunds are issued only when a piece arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was confirmed with you at order time, or where an order is cancelled in line with our Cancellation Policy before it has been packed or dispatched.

How to request one: Share clear photos/video of the issue with us on WhatsApp (+91 99995 16111) within 48 hours of delivery, or contact us to cancel before dispatch. We'll confirm eligibility with you directly.

Timeline: Once a refund is approved, it is processed within 7 business days.

Mode of refund: Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method used at checkout. Where that isn't possible, we'll arrange an alternative with you directly.

Not eligible for refund: Unstitched fabric cut for tailoring, made-to-measure pieces once stitching has begun, and orders cancelled after dispatch.

Cancellation window: You may cancel an order free of charge any time before it has been packed for dispatch. Message us on WhatsApp (+91 99995 16111) as soon as possible with your order details.

Once dispatched: Orders that have already been packed or shipped cannot be cancelled; please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy instead.

Made-to-measure & unstitched pieces: Orders involving custom stitching or fabric cut to your measurements cannot be cancelled once cutting or tailoring has started, as these are made specifically for you.

Refund on cancellation: Where a cancellation is accepted, any payment made is refunded as per our Refund Policy, within 7 business days.
